One Place Welcomes Lead Case Manager to its Staff in January 2021

One Place Family Justice Center welcomed Leslie Ledbetter as its Lead Case Manager on January 18, 2021.

A strong advocate for clients, family and the community, Ledbetter is a graduate of Faulkner University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Social Administration with a concentration in Community Practice for Social Change from Case Western Reserve University.

With 10 years experience in the social work field, Ledbetter has worked with child protective services in Omaha, Nebraska; provided Social Security benefit analysis for those who are differently abled; provided court and victim advocacy; coordinated a county-wide multidisciplinary team for child abuse investigations; and provided administrative support to law enforcement, internal affairs offices, and other governmental agencies. 

Ledbetter has coordinated multi-county conferences for professionals who work with child advocacy centers and has also presented a variety of training including topics such as: child abuse prevention, signs of human trafficking, social service case management, and cross-agency collaboration. 

She states, “I am honored to join One Place Family Justice Center. The victim-centered, collaborative approach is both forward-thinking and evidence-based.  I look forward to serving the community with the team.”

Ledbetter earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with honors from Faulkner University. She is a member of the national honor scholarship society, Alpha Chi and the national criminal justice honor society, Alpha Phi Sigma.

An Alabama native, Ledbetter enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. Ledbetter's personal philosophy, based in relational cultural theory, is "We are all working together for a better future."
