Quick Care within Two Hours
Our 24/7 confidential sexual assault and rape hotline is always open. When a call comes in, a specially trained forensic nurse and a crisis counselor/advocate will be available to meet the survivor within two hours.

What to Expect
at the First Visit
- Survivors of any age who have experienced sexual assault within the last 72 hours
- Survivors living in Autauga, Butler, Crenshaw, Dallas, Elmore, Lowndes, Montgomery, Perry, or Wilcox counties
Whether you call for yourself, a loved one, or on behalf of a patient, our team responds with care and compassion. All hotline calls, visits, and records are completely confidential, and there is never a cost for services.
Requests for help can come from:
- Law enforcement
- Hospital emergency departments
- The survivor directly
- Anyone assisting the survivor
During the visit, a specially trained forensic nurse provides a brief medical assessment, explains the survivor’s rights and treatment options, reviews informed consent, and, if the survivor chooses, collects forensic evidence. A crisis counselor or advocate remains by the survivor’s side throughout the exam, ensuring rights and options are protected while offering steady emotional support.
